CourseMIRROR (Mobile In-situ Reflections and Review with Optimized Rubrics) is a mobile system that leverages mobile interfaces, natural language processing, and peer-learning to enhance student-instructor interactions in large classrooms. CourseMIRROR uses active reminders to collect learners’ reflections and feedback in-situ. CourseMIRROR also uses automatic text summarization techniques to aggregate students’ feedback and present the most significant ones to both the instructors and the students to help them understand both difficulties and misunderstandings encountered.
